Muhammad is a 23 month old baby boy who suffers from sensorineural hearing impairment, this means that since the day he was born almost 2 years ago, Muhammad has not heard anything, his inability to hear has severely impacted his quality of life and another manifestation of this disability is his inability to speak as well. Muhammad's condition was diagnosed for the first time almost 3 months ago and since then his parents have been frantically trying to get their boy the treatment he desperately needs, his requirement is a Cochlear Implant which is a small, surgically implanted electronic device that can give a deaf child a sense of sound.

But time is of the essence for Muhammad, his doctors have recommended that the maximum age for a Cochlear Implant to be truly effective in his case is up to 2 years of age, which Muhammad is almost already at. If not undertaken immediately, his chances to recover and live a normal life will become slimmer and slimmer. If he does not receive his Cochlear Implant soon, Muhammad might be forced to live a life of disability and dependence on others.

Muhammad's father Farhan is unemployed, he used to work at a travel agency but Covid-19 took away their source of income, he supports a family of 3, his wife and his other son, also a one-month old baby.
